Listed below are some examples
of various volunteer opportunities and brief descriptions with point
values. All families are encouraged to obtain a
minimum of 60 points per year for two parent families and
30 points for all single parent families. Points are valid for the
current school year only; no points will be carried over. If you
volunteer in the school building during the school day, you must take the
Archdiocese Safe Environment Training. If you have
any questions, please contact the
office.

Officers - Help with coordination of teams and sporting events for All
Saints Catholic School students and CCD students - Schedule and run the
gym during the different seasons (volleyball,
basketball).

season.

Coordinator - This event is held on a Friday evening; the date for
this event is flexible.

Committee - This event is held on a Friday evening; the date for
this event is flexible.

First Communion
Breakfast Coordinator - Coordinate with kitchen manager, 2nd grade
teacher, school office and volunteers to prepare invitations.
The school will send them out. Volunteers will be needed for
set-up/clean-up for the Parent & 1st Communicant breakfast on the
Monday following 1st Communion. 2nd grade parents should not
coordinate this event.

Confirmation
Coordinator - Order refreshments for the reception after
Confirmation. They will need to setup, serve and clean up the
reception immediately following Confirmation. 8th grade parents
should not coordinate this event.

Scholastic Book
Fair Coordinator - The coordinator has contact with Scholastic
Book Club and the teacher that has been assigned this duty. The
coordinator will run the annual book fair and organize volunteers to
help with setup, sales, and cleanup. This event is held in
November, just before Thanksgiving Break and Parent/Teacher
Conferences. This event usually runs from the Thursday before
conferences through the day of conferences. It is also opened to
the parishoners of St. Frances Cabrini after the Saturday evening and
Sunday morning masses.

Christmas Gifts
Coordinator - Prepares and distributes the Home & School
Christmas gifts for the students and the teachers. This is done
before Christmas break.

8th Grade
Graduation Coordinator - Organizes the 8th Grade Graduation
reception that is sponsored by Home & School. The
coordinator will order the refreshments and the gift for the graduates
from the Home & School. The details are voted on during the
Home & School meetings and this event should not be coordinated by
an 8th grade parent.

Field Day Lunch
Coordinator - Helps with the preparation and distribution of
lunches on Field Day in May. Coordinate with the school kitchen
manager.

Teacher
Appreciation Lunch Coordinator - Organizes volunteers to help
supervise students over the lunch hours on this day, so teachers can
leave the building for an extended lunch break. Usually requires
at least six to eight volunteers.

There may be other opportunities
that come up during the school year. In order to be fair, we will
maintain the one point per hour of assistance donated to the school.
However, there may be some exceptions (for example, wiring the building,
painting, specialized building maintenance, etc) that the administration
may allow more points per hour. In these instances, it will be up to
the administration to determine how many points will be assigned for these
services.
